Students are an important part of our community and our future. It's up to us to ensure that more of them thrive even better and choose to stay in the region when they graduate.
What is Project Student Wellbeing?
Studenttrivsel is a 3-year project that will work on exactly this. It is a collaboration between Kristiansand municipality, Grimstad municipality, the University of Agder (UiA), Studentsamskipnaden i Agder, Agder county council and the student democracies.
The project also includes the business community, the municipalities' student committees, colleges and vocational schools in Agder. Together, we will propose, test and implement activities for student well-being in the host municipalities of Grimstad and Kristiansand.
From June 2023 to May 2026, we are focusing on three areas of work: Well-being and belonging to the local community, connection to regional working life and information for students. For us, the most important thing is that the activities we initiate contribute to our students feeling a sense of belonging. At the same time, we learn from collaboration all the way. Idea bank
Exchange of ideas
The idea bank below is a collection of quotes from students who have shared their thoughts, input and ideas on how student life can be improved.
Bridge construction
We hope the ideas can create a bridge between the students and various actors in business, educational institutions, voluntary organizations and public enterprises.
Realization
We encourage actors who want to strengthen students' well-being to "steal" the ideas, reflect on them - and work towards realization.
