Connection to regional working life
As a student, you are often motivated to try out new roles and be useful to others. At the same time, a company can learn a lot from having the courage to invest in students through summer jobs, task collaboration, part-time jobs or internships.

The Student Wellbeing project is now working on one activity within the work area Connection to regional working life. It has been named Career Leap.

Career leap

Karrieresprang is a public-private partnership between Næringsalliansen i Agder and Prosjekt Studenttrivsel, focusing on the university towns of Grimstad and Kristiansand. The initiative aims to offer students interesting and relevant summer jobs in regional companies.

In addition to the relevant summer job, Karrieresprang includes a social summer program for the participating students. This gives them the opportunity to get to know the region better, network and exchange experiences with summer job students in other partner companies.

Karrieresprang wants to contribute to value creation, reputation building and recruitment of new knowledge to Southern Norway. The program will give students the opportunity for a career boost, work experience, increased knowledge of the region and the opportunities that exist here. At the same time, it will help to strengthen the link and shorten the path between student and business.
