Information for students
Students find that many players are vying for their attention through an ever-growing number of information channels. The student body is not a single mass either, but consists of different individuals in different phases of both their studies and their lives.

In a complex world of information, it can be challenging to separate relevant from irrelevant information. The partners in Project Student Wellbeing will explore this further to understand students' experiences and find solutions that reduce the feeling of "information overload".

This is happening

Several parts of Student Well-being's work also revolve around information and communication, such as starting studies, volunteering, well-being, and working life. Ongoing coordination work is carried out to collect and clarify information that partners communicate to students.

Examples of this are:

  • Increased use of common profiling materials that welcome students to their city of study at all educational institutions (implemented and further developed at the start of studies in 2024 and 2025, work continues)
  • Collection of information about resources and opportunities for students in volunteering (in progress)
  • Clarifications about what is published in the student calendar (implemented March 2025)
  • Targeted profiling of the event calendar in the cities to highlight the year-round offer and make the local cultural and leisure offer more attractive and accessible to students (in progress)
  • Development of a campaign that familiarizes students with the business community in the region (in progress)

To ensure synergies, the Student Well-being Project collaborates with the regional pilot project Vekst i Sør . The pilot project aims to strengthen Agder's reputation and elevate the region as an attractive living and working region.

Delivered: Insight report on Information for students

The steering group wanted more knowledge and a better understanding of students' needs for information. As a result, an insight exercise was carried out in which both students and partners were asked about their experiences and wishes.

The insight report was delivered in August 2025. The project is now assessing how the findings can be used for concrete measures in the partnership.
