/ Become a supplier to Kristiansand municipality

All our procurement procedures are competitive. The higher the value of what is to be purchased, the stricter the rules for carrying out the purchase.

Difi summarizes this here. For Part I competitions, a minimum of three suppliers are invited to submit tenders. Part II and III competitions are published in Doffin (Database for public procurement), and are thus open to all. Difi has put together some good advice on being a supplier, which you can watch in the video at the bottom of this page.

Where can you find information about Kristiansand municipality's competitions?

  • The Procurement Unit organizes a supplier meeting in the City Hall Quarter in December each year. Here, information is provided on upcoming competitions, among other things.
  • Kristiansand municipality's competitions are published in Doffin. It is possible to order notification of new competitions.
  • All tenders must be submitted electronically and all communication must be done through the Mercell tool.
  • Make sure to have a user on behalf of your company ready before submitting your offer.
