Stray will take on the new role from March 1, 2025. In addition to the position as Business Manager, he will be tasked with leading an effort to look at the joint organization of business work in Kristiansand municipality and NAV Kristiansand. It may be relevant that several tasks and functions become part of the joint organization.

- The intention of the work is to get the Flere i Arbeid initiative up and running, and to facilitate an initiative to tackle social exclusion, which is one of Kristiansand municipality's most important social problems to solve," says municipal director Camilla Dunsæd. 

Bernt Jørgen Stray will be responsible for preparing a proposed mandate for the assignment, in collaboration with NAV Agder.

Going forward, work is underway to establish a new organizational structure for Kristiansand Municipality, including two staff areas. Until this comes into force, the current organization applies.
