Every year, all 9th graders in Kristiansand, Vennesla and Høvåg visit two different companies in their local area. Now your company can join the next round.
The company visits help to increase the students' knowledge of the world of work and business. The focus here is on knowledge about the local company, recruitment, what opportunities exist in the relevant industry and what skills are in demand in the company.

- These company visits help to enable students to make good educational and career choices. Here they can gain knowledge about different opportunities and requirements in working life, better understand the connection between education and job opportunities, and explore career opportunities," says Marianne Stray Aas (Project Manager for vocational education choices in Kristiansand municipality).
The company and the school agree on a time for the visit, which lasts approximately two hours. The visit usually includes an information session followed by a guided tour or meetings with the company's employees. The program varies, but quizzes, interviews or a practical assignment are popular options.A joint workshop is also organized in early autumn, where companies can get help with planning.
