Processing of personal data

We value your privacy and want to make sure you know how we collect, use and protect your personal data. 

Privacy StatementKristiansand Municipality at Business Region Kristiansand offers Relocation Agder, which assists companies in Agder when applying for residence to the Directorate of Immigration UDI for newly employed internationals and their family members. Relocation Agder assists each individual during the entire immigration process with all practical implementation. Relocation Agder also invites the internationals who have been assisted through the service to a social event 6 times a year.

All our partner companies and their employees are free to fill out the necessary information on our website to order Relocation Agder's services. By submitting this information, you confirm that you agree that we as recipients can use it in the work related to our services. Once all services have been performed, and the information has been archived in accordance with Norwegian law, the information is permanently deleted.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data for this service is GDPR Article 6, 1, letter a, consent . Using the service is voluntary.

In order to offer the service, the municipality collects the following personal information about you: Name, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, citizenship, marital status, passport number, residential address, DUF number, authorization to the UDI. Personal information collected from others than the registered person: Name and e-mail are initially shared with the employer, so that Relocation Agder can make direct contact with the person concerned. 

Storage and deletion

The information is stored for 3 years, before a new consent declaration is obtained if necessary in line with the purpose. 

Relocation Agder collects and stores personal data based on consent in order to be able to offer our services in an efficient and continuous manner. When we issue work visas, which are usually valid for three years, it is important for us to be able to assist our users throughout this period, for continuity of service delivery, efficient handling of inquiries, record keeping, legal and operational requirements and accounting for further invoicing for assignments and/or UDI fees.  

If you wish to change or delete your personal information, you can do so by contacting Relocation Agder directly at relocation@kristiansand.kommune.no or calling the person responsible for Relocation Agder, Birthe Helland on +47 930 89 188. You will receive written confirmation of your request and the deletion of your information. A request to delete your personal information can also be sent to us via our own form here

Technical Aids

Super Office CRM is operated by Exsitec AS (Corporate Registration No. 984 489 234). The information is stored on servers owned by Exsitec AS (Corporate Registration No. 984 489 234) in Norway.   

All processing of personal data takes place within the EU/EEA. (If personal data is sent outside the EU/EEA, the area requires an adequacy decision or a separate transfer basis and a separate data transfer assessment (DTIA).)  

External recipients of personal data  

Directorate of Immigration (UDI) 

  • Purpose: assist with application for residence to UDI (skilled/family immigration)  
  • The processing basis for the sharing: GDPR Article 6, 1, letter a, consent   

Tax authorities 

  • Purpose: to assist with follow-up in the case processing of registration of notification of moving to Norway, issuance of a personal identification number, and any other assistance that the agency may require from the individual.  
  • The processing basis for the sharing: GDPR Article 6, 1, letter a, consent   

The police  

  • Purpose: assist with follow-up in the case processing when registering and implementing the residence permit in Norway, assistance with applications for early work permits, securing registration hours and any other assistance that the individual person may require from the agency. 
  • The processing basis for the sharing: GDPR Article 6, 1, letter a, consent   

Bank 

  • Purpose: Assist with opening a bank account if desired, in each individual case.  
  • The processing basis for the sharing: GDPR Article 6, 1, letter a, consent   

Consequences

The processing will have no consequences or effect on the data subject if the data subject does not provide personal data.

As a registered person, you have the right to access whether the municipality processes your personal data and how your personal data is processed, request that incorrect personal data be corrected, request that your personal data be deleted upon withdrawal of consent, request that the municipality restrict the use of your personal data (freeze the use), and if technically possible, data portability of electronically stored personal data.
