/ Wind opportunities
Vindmuligheter is a business network for actors in Agder who want to realize business opportunities related to onshore and offshore wind power.
Wind opportunities started as a project organized by Birkenes næringsforum, Birkenes municipality and E.ON, in connection with E.ON's planned development at Bjelkeberget and Oddeheia in Birkenes municipality. The purpose of the project was to ensure as much local value creation as possible in connection with this project, and how to facilitate that as many local and regional business actors as possible get contracts and revenues related to a development project.

More recently, the project has been given a regional perspective, made possible through collaboration with Innovation Norway. The long-term ambition is to develop a regional business cluster for business actors who want to position themselves for business opportunities related to wind power development, on land and at sea, in Agder and beyond. The collaboration is now organized as a member association that owns an operating company. Business Region Kristiansand provides administrative project management for the board of Vindmuligheter AS.
