Birkenes Business Forum shall facilitate business development in Birkenes by being a forward-looking driving force and sparring partner for the established business community.
Birkenes Business Forum was established in 1992 and contributes to cooperation between local businesses and the political and administrative leadership in the municipality. The Business Forum is organized as an association and is registered in the Brønnøysund Register - org. no. 986 328 149. Arild Tveide is the project coordinator and secretary of Birkenes Business Forum. Birkenes Business Forum currently consists of almost 50 members.
The activity consists of member meetings, breakfast meetings and board meetings where matters of common interest to the business community and the municipality are addressed. The aim of the work is to ensure that Birkenes is always considered as an alternative for new establishments. To be a clear link between municipal bodies and the business community, ensuring that information concerning the business community that is presented to politicians is correct. Be a focal point for the local business community.
