Business Region Kristiansand and Agder County Council are project drivers for the Sustainable Business Idea Competition in collaboration with Sørlandet Kompetansefond, DNB, Innovation Norway and the public funding agencies throughout Agder. The partners want to be active contributors to the realization of new and sustainable products and solutions. This is done by increasing the focus on economically, socially and ecologically sustainable business ideas among entrepreneurs as a basis for creating the jobs of the future in Agder. Previous competitions have shown that there are many exciting business ideas in Agder. The 2016 and 2017 winners were included in the EU's Climate-KIC accelerator program, which provided access to unique expertise and just under NOK 1 million.
