In June, Aksel Lund Svindal will take ten former sports stars to southern Norway to record a new season of "The Champions of Champions" for NRK. This time the trip goes to Kristiansand and Lillesand.
-We are happy and proud to welcome the Champions of Champions back to Southern Norway says two happy mayors, Jan Oddvar Skisland (Kristiansand) and Einar Holmer-Hoven (Lillesand).
Aksel Lund Svindal, host and previous winner of the Champions of Champions, is coming to Southern Norway and will start filming the new season in June. - "The participant house is located in Lillesand municipality, while the competitions are filmed in Kristiansand, Lillesand and nearby areas," says Pia Basberg, NRK's project editor.
We are proud to be able to deliver a joint product from Lillesand and Kristiansand that Mesterens Mester has found exciting. - We look forward to showcasing the potential of our beautiful region to the whole country. It will have very positive ripple effects for both tourism and business, says Merete Holtan (business manager Lillesand) and Geir Haugum (business manager Kristiansand).
Lillesand and Kristiansand municipality are looking forward to hosting the filming and look forward to a good collaboration with the production company and the residents for the very best working conditions for the production. So that we can look forward to a good season of Mesternes Mester on NRK in January 2022.
Beyond confirming the area, NRK would not give any details on where the filming will take place.
