The event Sustainable Business Idea Competition/DNB NXT takes place in the spectacular Panorama at Kustsilo on September 19 at 14.00-16.00. The event is part of the Techpoint conference.
Host Gunnar Stavrum, known as a social commentator and CEO of the media company Nettavisen, will lead us through two packed hours of inspiration, learning and new business ideas. Meet, among others, Rolf Assev from Startuplab, brand expert Didrik Fjeldstad and Tone Kvåle from Skagerak Capital.
Norway's "Start-up godfather"
You will get to meet Rolf Assev from StartupLab, also known as "Norway's Start-up Godfather". Rolf shares his experiences with us about what it takes to succeed and what separates them from those who have to give up. Rolf has helped hundreds of Norwegian tech companies through his role as founder and partner in Startuplab. Assev inspires and has clear messages, so there is very good and concrete advice to be found here.
From start-up to international growth company
Didrik Fjeldstad will also be there. "Branding is essential, also for new companies that want to take a position. Didrik is a sought-after speaker with his broad background and experience. He was previously Global Marketing Director at Carlsberg Group, before becoming Vice President Brand Marketing at SAS. He is currently Brand and Marketing Director at the Confederation of Danish Industry, and a board member of Oxidane Venture - which invests in the intersection of water and high technology.
Entrepreneurs with ambitions - who will walk away with the prize?
You'll also get to see the finalists in the Sustainable Business Idea Competition 2024. The entrepreneurs compete for the jury's favor to walk away with glory and up to NOK 150,000 in support for further development. We'll also hear from last year's winner, Orca Connex, which has high ambitions to contribute to the establishment of data storage at sea.
How to impress an investor?
A tough task for many companies is getting access to capital through the right investor. Investment Manager, Tone Kvåle from Skagerak Capital shares what investors are looking for. Skagerak Capital invests in, and accelerates, companies that develop new technologies with a positive impact on society, and that have international ambitions and growth opportunities.
