The Kristiansand region is among the country's leaders in renewable energy, and the head office of the country's third largest energy group is located in Kristiansand. Large, natural hydropower resources and a pioneering solar cell industry provide a tailwind for innovation and sustainable value creation for the future.
The region is in a unique position with its strategic location towards Europe, traditions of international trade and is the country's largest exporter of processed raw materials.
